But, it's important to know the things to avoid when giving a massage to prevent any discomfort, pain, or injury. By doing so you will provide a safe and enjoyable massage experience for yourself or your clients.

- Avoid Applying too much pressure: giving too much pressure during a massage can cause discomfort or even pain. It is essential to apply just the right amount of pressure to give a comfortable and relaxing massage experience. Always ensure to communicate with your client regarding pressure.
- Do not Ignore pain signals: It is vital to communicate with the person you are giving massage to, and ask them how they feel and any discomfort or pain. Avoid Ignoring pain signals because this can lead to further injury or discomfort.
- Use enough Massaging oil: Not using enough massage can cause friction between your hands and the person's skin, that can be uncomfortable and may cause skin irritation. It is essential to use enough massage oil to ensure a smooth, comfortable and relaxing massage experience.
- Avoid Massaging over broken skin or wounds: By Massaging over broken skin or wounds can irritate the skin and delay the healing process. So, void massaging over wounded area until they have healed completely.
- Practice good hygiene: Maintaining good hygiene when giving a massage is vital. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after the massage and make sure to clean and disinfect any tools or equipment used during the massage.

- Do not give Massage for too long: Giving Massage for too long can cause the person to feel fatigued and uncomfortable. It is very important to keep every massage session to a reasonable length of time, from 30 to 90 minutes.
